hron 2.2.0
hron 2.2 changes the TypeScript package, hron-ts (#114). Every other package is unchanged from 2.1.0 and takes the new version number, because hron's packages share one version.
hron-ts
- ESM only: the package is now built with plain
tscand ships ES modules only. CommonJS code can still load it withrequire()on Node 20.19+ or 22.12+, which load ES modules synchronously. - temporal-polyfill: hron-ts now uses temporal-polyfill in place of
@js-temporal/polyfill. It is about 19 KB gzipped instead of 45 KB, and evaluation is faster. hron-ts uses its own copy even where a globalTemporalexists, so a partial native implementation cannot change its results. - Any Temporal implementation: every timestamp argument may be a
Temporal.ZonedDateTimeorTemporal.Instantfrom native Temporal, temporal-polyfill or@js-temporal/polyfill, in both types and at runtime. Returned timestamps are temporal-polyfillZonedDateTimes; the package re-exports itsTemporal. - TypeScript 7: the package is built and type-checked with TypeScript 7.
Other changes
- The playground uses hron-wasm 2.1.0 and shows hron's own reason when an expression has no cron equivalent (#112).
- Renovate leaves each published package's minimum language version alone (#113).
- Dev dependency and GitHub Actions updates (#108, #109, #110).
