Release list
SintBot 1.0.16
Highlights
- Mask API keys during interactive local setup and explain what remains for non-interactive installs.
- Add bilingual AI-assisted installation and first-use guides, with a clearer preview of planned operations and trial usage costs.
- Collapse the design style and icon libraries by default; recommend style presets only when starting a new product without an existing visual direction.
Upgrade
npm install -g sintbot@latestSintBot 1.0.15
What's changed
- Software updates and version history now share one card at the bottom of Settings. A small indicator appears by the console version when a newer stable release is available.
- The Bot & Network card now spans the settings grid, with bot and proxy details arranged side by side. Additional proxy details can be expanded when needed.
Upgrade
npm i -g sintbot@latestSintBot v1.0.14
Changed
- More reliable service reinstalls. A reinstall waits for the previous background service to unload before starting the replacement.
- Updates from the console. Stable releases are checked at startup and daily, with a manual check available. An administrator confirms upgrades, which wait until group tasks are idle and install the exact version.
- Manage console access in Settings. Set a LAN access password and toggle LAN access or public Feishu sign-in. Failed listener changes restore the previous settings.
Upgrade
npm i -g sintbot@latestA running service is not upgraded automatically; restart it when its groups are idle.

SintBot v1.0.13
An even shorter install: almost nothing to answer.
Changed
- No questions for what can be done automatically. The one-line install upgrades to the latest version directly.
sintbot setupinstalls Claude Code when it is missing, picks the default model itself and runs a trial turn, and no longer asks about adding more models. Codex and the design icon libraries are optional and only get a one-line install hint. If you are already logged in to Claude or Codex, the whole install asks one thing: whether to install the background service. - Keys and proxy go into the service automatically.
sintbot service installwrites the environment-variable keys the config refers to, and your terminal's proxy when the config has none, into the service definition (mode 600) without asking. Run it again after changing a key or the proxy.--pass-envis now the default. - Less output. The install no longer shows npm progress or harmless npm warnings, and the background service reports a single line when it is up.
A running service is still restarted only after you confirm, because the restart announces the upgrade in connected groups.
Upgrade
npm i -g sintbot@latest && sintbot service restartAs with any version change, the daemon posts a short upgrade notice to each bound group after the restart.

SintBot v1.0.12
A simpler install: the terminal sets up the model, the console does the rest.
Changed
- The terminal only sets up the model.
sintbot setupno longer asks whether the machine is in mainland China, and no longer asks for a proxy, a projects folder or chat platform credentials. It checks the environment, sets up a model and runs a live trial turn. Everything else is set in the console afterwards. The old full set of questions is still there assintbot setup --full, for servers without a browser. - A console right after install. The background service now installs before a chat platform is connected: it runs the console only, at http://127.0.0.1:4600, and the one-line install opens it in your browser. Connect Slack, Feishu or WeCom under Settings and save; the service restarts itself within seconds and connects. The Overview page has a new Get started checklist.
- The one-line install has four numbered steps, skips an install that is already up to date, notices a running service (and, after an upgrade, asks before restarting it), and ends with the console address and what to do next.
New
- Settings → Bot & network in the console: the bot's name and the network proxy.
sintbot service installcan also carry your terminal's proxy into the service. - English throughout the install. The installer and the wizard follow the system language (on macOS, the system language counts even when
LANGis English). SetSINTBOT_LANG=enorzhto choose. - Key sites found automatically. For Zhipu GLM and MiniMax, the wizard tries the key on both the mainland and the international site and keeps the one that works.
sintbot uiopens the running service's console instead of failing on the busy port.
Fixed
- Wizard questions could be overwritten by a stray
>prompt when the terminal redrew the line. - The generated direct-connection list (
NO_PROXY) could contain a bogus*.0.1entry.
Upgrade
npm i -g sintbot@latest && sintbot service restartAs with any version change, the daemon posts a short upgrade notice to each bound group after the restart. Existing configs are left as they are.

SintBot v1.0.11
Icon libraries from the setup wizard.
New
- The wizard installs the design icon libraries. When Lucide, Tabler, Phosphor or Pixelarticons are missing,
sintbot setupnow offers to install the missing ones in one go (about 170 MB on disk; default yes). With them, the bot uses standard icons by name when it draws a design instead of drawing its own. Unattended runs (no terminal) do not install them;sintbot doctorkeeps pointing them out.
Upgrade
npm i -g sintbot@latest && sintbot service restartAs with any version change, the daemon posts a short upgrade notice to each bound group after the restart. To get the icon libraries on a machine that is already set up, run sintbot setup again or install them with the command sintbot doctor shows.

SintBot v1.0.10
A steadier background service.
Fixed
- No service without a chat platform. If no Feishu, Slack or WeCom bot is connected yet,
sintbot service installnow stops (exit code 3) and points you tosintbot uito connect one and bind a group first. Before, the service would exit as soon as it started and keep being restarted. The one-line installer checks this before offering the service and ends with the same pointer. - Keys from environment variables reach the service. When the config takes keys from environment variables (
env:NAME),sintbot service installrun in a terminal now asks whether to write them into the service definition (file mode 600; default yes).--pass-envstill does it without asking. Without them, models that use those keys do not work in the service. - Clearer wording. Trial runs show the model from your config instead of asking the model who it is (models behind Claude Code often call themselves Claude).
sintbot doctorreports a missing chat platform on its ownplatformsrow, and/modelinsintbot chatexplains that it is a terminal trial and how to switch there.

SintBot v1.0.9
A steadier setup wizard.
Fixed
- No more looping without a terminal. When
sintbot setupruns without keyboard input (in a script, a container or CI), it now finishes on the defaults instead of looping at the model step until the disk fills. Left unanswered, it no longer installs Claude Code on its own, and if it still cannot finish, it stops and writes no config. Interactive runs in a terminal behave exactly as before.

SintBot v1.0.8
A clearer console and sharper style extraction.
What's new
- "Needs you" on the console. The top of Overview lists what is waiting on you: failed tasks with their reason, browser takeovers nobody has claimed, open feedback, leftover background processes and failing health checks. It appears only when something does, and sends nothing extra to any group.
- Activity survives restarts. After a restart or an upgrade, live activity on Overview is filled back in from recent tasks, and failed tasks show their reason.
- Sharper style extraction. Extracting a style from a URL now reads stylesheets a site serves from other domains, so sites like Feishu and Bilibili work, and sites that need a proxy go through the configured one. Colors, fonts and radii are read more accurately, and anything it cannot read leaves your choices as they were.
- English throughout. The English console now covers the WeCom settings, health checks, scheduled-task descriptions and more, and the built-in design styles have English names and descriptions.

SintBot v1.0.7
The first official release of SintBot: a self-hosted daemon that runs headless Claude Code or Codex from your Feishu, Slack or WeCom group chats.
What it does
- One group, one project. Bind a group to a project and anyone in the group can hand it work; each group has its own session, queue and permissions.
- Switch models anytime. Claude, GPT (through Codex), DeepSeek, GLM, MiniMax or a custom endpoint — each group picks its own and can switch at any time without losing the project memory.
- Progress in the group. Work in progress streams to a progress card in the group, and the result is posted back when it is done.
- Local console. Manage groups, models and chat platforms in the browser, run a test turn and read the version history. Settings now has an About card with the website, source and docs, and the issue tracker.
- Easy to start. One-line install; the setup wizard recommends a model based on the accounts you already have and tries it on the spot, and the health check reports honestly what works and what needs fixing. Doc pointers in the wizard and hints are now full links that work from an npm install.
- Your data stays on your machine. Projects, sessions and memory stay on your own machine, and messages sent to the group are redacted automatically.
