Downloads

Mac: download Install-Circle-Sans-v1.5.dmg, open it, select both fonts and double-click them. Font Book opens - click Install, then quit and reopen the apps you want to use them in.

File Use it for
CircleSans-v1.5-webfonts.zip Web. WOFF2, smallest files — start here for a website.
CircleSans-v1.5-variable.zip Web or design tools. One file, every weight and width, via font-variation-settings.
CircleSans-v1.5-ttf.zip Desktop. Install these on macOS/Windows for Figma, Office, etc.
CircleSans-v1.5-otf.zip Print / desktop publishing.
CircleSans-v1.5-all.zip Everything above in one archive.

Nine weights (Thin to Black) in two widths (Normal and Narrow), roman and italic.

Using the variable font on the web

@font-face {
  font-family: "Circle Sans";
  src: url("CircleSans[wdth,wght].woff2") format("woff2-variations");
  font-weight: 100 900;
  font-stretch: 87.5% 100%;
}

The long-stem g and the open ampersand are the defaults — no
font-feature-settings needed. Figures are proportional; add
font-variant-numeric: tabular-nums on price columns and numbers that
update in place. ss02 gives the original g, ss04 the original ampersand.

Changes

  • Rewrite the README for four changes, not two
  • Add the Coffee Circle drip mark as a glyph, typed as [drip]
