libslic3r's tests are written with the CATCH2 framework.
New pull requests will generally require test updates provided.
- libslic3r - src/test/libslic3r
- slic3r-gui - src/test/GUI
- external test input files - src/test/inputs
- Subfolders in this directory indicate for which test the files are used.
- src/test/test_data.hpp
- Common utilities. Pay special note to
init_print
.
- Common utilities. Pay special note to
- src/test/test_options.hpp
- Generated during build.
- Provides the variable
testfile_dir
, which contains the path to the inputs directory.
- Ensure Slic3r is built with
SLIC3R_BUILD_TESTS=ON
(andGUI_BUILD_TESTS=ON
andEnable_GUI=ON
for the GUI tests). - Use the cmake test target
-
ctest .
in build directory
-
- Run the individual tests applications
-
gui_test
- run GUI-only test (supply --help to see options) -
slic3r_test
- run tests for Slic3r only (supply --help to see options)
