Upgrade notes

  • From v3.0.x: run mcctl update.
  • From v2.x: use upgrade-v3.sh (served from main): curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/smallmiro/minecraft-server-manager/main/scripts/upgrade-v3.sh | bash -s -- --dry-run, then without --dry-run. See the upgrade runbook.
  • No router image change, no new .env variables, no map re-render needed.

Fixed

  • Recreate only stopped servers on an old image (#810): mcctl update and step 7b of upgrade-v3.sh no longer offer to recreate a stopped server whose container already runs the current local image. They report it as up to date.
