Patch release on the release/v1.0 line: four fixes to v1.0.0.
-
deploy.sh can redeploy just the kernel. "deploy.sh linux" failed,
since no kernel recipe had a deploy task; the kernel recipes now
hand over to their BSP, which repacks the ITB and writes it onto
the boot partition without compiling anything ("deploy.sh
usr-zephyr" for a Zephyr image). The partial Linux boot deploy also
used to write the ITB of the previous full build: a rebuilt kernel
never reached the card. A kernel that was never built for the
platform is now reported by name instead of failing inside
mkimage. (#54, #56) -
AVZ on the Raspberry Pi 4 (rpi4_64): the agency took an EL2 data
abort as soon as the network started, because the hypervisor
indexed a 160-entry interrupt array with BCM2711 interrupt numbers
up to 208. The avz recipe follows the SO3 fix (so3#334) until SO3
tags a release carrying it. (#53) -
QEMU is no longer rebuilt from scratch by every "build.sh qemu".
The configure step re-ran each time, and QEMU's configure starts by
deleting its build directory; it now runs only when the target list
or the options change, and the build is incremental. (#57) -
U-Boot stays at its prompt when no OS has been deployed. With
U-Boot alone on the boot partition there is no uEnv.txt, and the
boot command imported whatever lay in memory, then failed on an
undefined "start". The QEMU boot command also imports uEnv.txt
with its exact length now, as the Raspberry Pi one did. (#58)
