What's New in v2026.09.1

Fountain Light Schedule, actually fixed this time

The Light Schedule feature added last release never really worked, the times saved fine but the fountain just ignored them. A real capture of the vendor app doing this found two fields I wasn't sending at all, without them the device just stores the times in static mode and never acts on them. Both are sent now, confirmed working, the light turns on and off exactly when you tell it to.

The "Enable Schedule" toggle got the same treatment. Turning it off wasn't actually stopping an active schedule, tracked that down to two separate issues (the disable command needed to resend the schedule times along with the flag, and a separate bug where hitting Apply was quietly re-enabling the schedule regardless of what the toggle showed). All fixed, confirmed working both directions on real hardware. Field labels are also clearer now: "Lights On At" / "Lights Off At".

New: jammed food door alert

If a pet blocks the One RFID Smart Feeder's door from closing, you'll now get an alert, the same way the official PetLibro app used to warn you. Found from a user-submitted capture of a real jam. On by default, uses the same notification channels (bell, email, mobile) as every other alert, and clears itself automatically once the door closes again.

Smaller things

The dedicated NTP debug log (still just for an ongoing investigation into a delayed-feeding report) now includes each device's name, not just a serial prefix, useful if you own more than one device of the same type sharing the same first few characters.

No data migration required. Existing devices, pets, and settings carry forward unchanged.
