- Honour the retryable hint on idempotent requests; add 507 to the
  retryable-status allowlist; mint an Idempotency-Key once per call
  and reuse it across retries on POST /sessions (#2).
- A refused session id (404 InvalidSessionId) is no longer treated
  as a successful release — only a bare 404 is tolerated (#3).

Cut from main (28a4743), not re-cut from an existing tag.
