v0.6.3
⚠️ Homebrew users: one manual step
This release ships a Homebrew cask instead of a formula — GoReleaser
deprecated formula generation. Homebrew treats the two as separate packages, so
brew upgrade will not move you across and will silently leave you on the
previous version:
brew uninstall --formula bash-pilot
brew install --cask somaz94/tap/bash-pilotInstalling the cask without uninstalling the formula first leaves both in
place: Homebrew skips linking the cask's binary because one is already at that
path, so bash-pilot keeps running the old build while reporting success.
--formula on the uninstall is required — the bare name now resolves to the
cask.
Not sure which one you have? brew list --formula | grep bash-pilot — no output
means you are already on the cask. Nothing changes for install script, binary,
Scoop or go install users, and the cask installs on Linux as well.
