Following are visualizations of the data gleaned by HarvardX-MITx Person-Course Dataset AY2013 . It contains de-identified data from the first year of MITx and HarvardX courses on the edX platform.
- The first visualization shows the popularity of each course available on the EdX platform in 2013 according to the number of views.
- This visualization shows how viewership for each course was divided amongst the different countries in which EdX students lived.
- This visualization shows the amount of views per country. The different colors within the bars specify the course.
- Here we have an interactive scatterplot featuring quantitative attributes of the data.
- This interactive scatterplot features highlighting via the color legend to emphasize the spread of each course.
My goal was to see the distribution of the views globally. Future work will include the functionality of the dropdown so users can select by country.
