Distribution

  • Released as prebuilt, ad-hoc signed macOS executables
    (tea-<version>-macos-aarch64.tar.gz, tea-<version>-macos-x86_64.tar.gz)
    on GitHub Releases, and as the Homebrew Cask
    brew install --cask soundadam/tap/tea in place of the source-built
    Formula. A downloaded copy needs Gatekeeper approval on first run; the Cask
    clears quarantine on install.
  • Added tea update, tea update --check, tea update --auto on|off, tea --version, an update line
    in the client (u installs), and a one-line notice after commands when a
    newer release exists. These follow the shared
    appkit contract.
  • The version comes from the release tag; a source build without it reports
    tea dev and does not update itself.
