layout horizontal not working since 2025.9 after switching away from history screen. #1108
Description
when setting the layout to horizontal, as in the image. The view will be rendered correctly.
After switching away to the stashes view or local changes for example and back. The layout will always be rendered as Vertical.
The option will be correctly remembered, but for the rendering to be horizontal, you need to change the setting to vertical and back to horizontal.
This is (obviously) a tedious workaround for a bug that would be nice to see fixed.
This did not happen in 2025.8 and earlier.
