Repository statistics screen is unnecessarily case-sensitive

The app treates the same email address with different letter casing as seperate users. For example, abc@xyz.com and Abc@xyz.com are incorrectly considered as different users. This is an unexpected behaviour, as email adresses should be handled in case-insensiteve manner.

In fact, it's not counted by email, but whole author info %aN±%aE. SourceGit does not know which one is the best one to display, for example:

I understand that Git internally uses the full author string (%aN <%aE>) and treats it case-sensitively. However, from a user experience perspective — especially in tools like SourceGit — it would be more helpful if the application could group or normalize author identities based on email address in a case-insensitive way, or at least provide an option to do so.
