Missing code file deleted in commit and history

staging and commit "appears to loose changes" - but I can't tell

Made changes to a c# file
then moved it to a new Visual studio project in same solution (different folder)
Before commit and staging (i.e. changes)

As you see the 'deleted file disappeared. Unless that is what the purple arrow means ... ?
