deleting multiple tags at once tries to delete them from server as well even when checkbox is ticked off

I tried to delete all my local tags as they are used for release versions and i'm not in that team.
When i selected all the tags and tried to delete them, i got the confirmation popup.
This popup has a checkbox: 'also remove from remote' (or something similar).
I made sure this checkbox was ticked off, so that i would only remove them locally.

luckily our servers where well protected, because i started getting lots of error messages that the tags on the server cannot be removed.
without correct server configuration, i would now have lost all our releases and attached builds that are attached to git.

I do no dare to try this again on my work laptop. In the weekend I will try to replicate it at home to get a better bug report (and possibly look into fixing it, but not sure if I'll have time this weekend).

expected behavior:
respect the checkbox and only delete the tags locally
