Comma Sync v1.0.2
Recommended update — fixes audio that ran ahead of the video. Download Comma-Sync-macOS.zip, unzip, and drag Comma Sync.app to Applications. See the README for one-time setup (install rsync/ffmpeg via Homebrew and enable SSH on your comma). The app is ad-hoc signed, so on first launch run xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "/path/to/Comma Sync.app" or use System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.
What's new in 1.0.2
- 🔊 Fixed audio drifting ahead of the video. The comma's mic starts a few seconds after the camera at the start of a drive, leaving a gap (sometimes ~10s) that the old stitcher collapsed — so the audio ran ahead of the picture, more so on longer drives, with only the ends lining up. Audio is now decoded preserving its real timing and aligned to the video segment-by-segment, so it stays in sync the whole way through (the few seconds before the mic kicks in are correctly silent). Re-stitch any affected drives from the Index Drives page to apply the fix — no re-download needed.
Includes everything from 1.0.1: scan-free mDNS device discovery, the instant persistent drive index (survives restarts, only refreshes on demand), indexing during a sync, and clearer "scanning vs transferring" status.
