SparkFun RTK Everywhere - Firmware Update System Menu

Note: You can load the latest firmware or release candidate over the air. Alternatively, there is a GUI process as well.

Note: We recommend doing a factory reset after upgrading firmware.

In summary, this release extends LoRa support on the FP line as well and FP to Torch communication. There is also an important fix for a failure of WiFi to reconnect when WiFi is lost. The update firmware button on the Web Config interface now works much more reliably in a variety of different network configurations. A device can now be remotely configured over a TCP connection from anywhere in the world.

  • Bug #1005 - Fix 'Update Firmware' button on Web Config page.
  • Bug #994 - Fix printing of periodic reports to serial when BLE is connected.
  • Bug #993 - Fix WiFi reconnect when connection is lost - NTRIP Server restarts successfully.
  • Bug #989 - Fix the parsing of the antenna instrument height in web config.
  • Bug #975 - Fix the download of multiple files through the web config.
  • Bug #861 - Improve TCP Server: now runs in base mode and can correctly use AP WiFi
  • Bug #860 - Make sure Base type has correct value entry on web config.
  • Bug - FPX units only: Correctly record incoming data to prevent external radio corrections overriding lower priority correction sources (ie, NTRIP Client, Bluetooth, etc).
  • Feature #998 - Allow remote configuration of device via TCP Server connection.
  • Feature - Update LoRa interface to allow FP <-> Torch communication.
  • Feature #919 - Display improvements to show HAS corrections activity. New blinking HPA 'P' icon when PPP is converging and solid 'P' icon when converged. Display Dish with P when PPP is enabled. Display P in square when PPP corrections are being used.
  • Feature #858 - [EVK] Make RTCM menu system more clear between Rover and Base.
  • Feature - Exit Tilt compensation from either button on FP series.
  • Feature - Enter display menu system from either button on FP series.
