OpenAPI CLI v1.26.0

This release includes binaries for Linux, macOS, and Windows on both x86_64 and ARM64 architectures.

Installation

Download the appropriate binary for your platform from the assets below, extract it, and add it to your PATH.

⚠️ Breaking change for library users: YAML package migration

The library now uses go.yaml.in/yaml/v3 instead of the archived gopkg.in/yaml.v3 (#269). The API is identical, but Go treats the two yaml.Node types as unrelated, so anything that exchanges YAML nodes with this library needs to switch its imports:

- import "gopkg.in/yaml.v3"
+ import "go.yaml.in/yaml/v3"

This affects values.Value, document root nodes, validation.NodeFix implementations, and any other API that takes or returns *yaml.Node. Code still on the old package will fail to compile against this release.

If you decode into sequencedmap.Map or linter.Config with the old package, it will silently produce empty values, because their custom UnmarshalYAML methods now implement the new package's interface.

Supporting dependency changes:

  • github.com/speakeasy-api/jsonpath bumped to v0.7.0, which also uses go.yaml.in/yaml/v3.
  • github.com/vmware-labs/yaml-jsonpath (used for legacy overlay JSONPath) replaced with the github.com/speakeasy-api/yaml-jsonpath fork until vmware-labs/yaml-jsonpath#65 is released.

The CLI's behaviour is unchanged.
