v1.8.0
Spotify Ads API Plugin v1.8.0
This release expands the plugin beyond campaign management with new audience, measurement, account-administration, and change-audit workflows. It also makes draft staging the default for campaign hierarchy changes, updates the bundled API reference to the August 2026 Ads API surface, and strengthens OAuth token handling.
Highlights
Safer campaign changes with drafts by default
Campaign, ad-set, and ad creation and modification now use the draft workflow by default. Changes are staged, the complete hierarchy is validated, and nothing is published without explicit confirmation.
- Stage changes to published entities without immediately affecting delivery
- Preserve and disclose existing draft work before combining changes
- Validate complete campaign hierarchies before publishing
- Group and validate bulk changes by campaign
- Use direct live writes only when explicitly requested
Audience management
New audience workflows support:
- Customer-list uploads and replacements
- Web-event and ad-engagement audiences
- Lookalike audiences
- Audience discovery, editing, status checks, and deletion
Conversion measurement
New measurement skills help teams plan, configure, and troubleshoot:
- Spotify Pixel
- Conversions API (CAPI)
- Datasets and ad-account sharing
- Advanced matching and event mapping
- Mobile app measurement
- Missing, stale, duplicated, misrouted, or unattributed events
Measurement debugging is read-only-first and avoids creating test conversions without explicit confirmation.
Account administration and change history
New administration and audit workflows support:
- Business and ad-account discovery
- Member and role audits
- Invitations and access assignments
- Supported account updates
- Change-history queries showing who changed campaigns, ad sets, creatives, budgets, targeting, statuses, and other settings
Change-history results cover the API's rolling 180-day retention window.
