In my link there are other two links.

I am doing a complete migration about JMS configuration, it from XML to JavaConfig.

There is no a match or equivalent for the destination-type attribute from jms:listener-container for JavaConfig.

The reply and solution is on the URL, I think is wise share it for the community through the Reference documentation.

I initially started with a setDestinationType on the container itself but it turns out to be much harder than I thought (and the JMS/JCA split there did not help).

Reconsidering the whole issue Java config feels more natural when controlling individual properties while XML namespace has those constants that may configure several properties. I have improved the doc (and the XSD) to mention the properties that that this setting may change. Hopefully, the name of the destination is straightforward enough to figure out what it does.
