Deutsch

English

  • Bitty can now do everything he does on the web: on first start he offers a tour, and there are tours for animation, layers, tiles and photo → sprite (Help → “Tours with Bitty”) — he outlines what it’s about in blue and opens the matching panels.
  • New hands-on lesson: “Your first animated sprite” in six steps — Bitty checks by himself whether a step is done.
  • Bitty’s search (Ctrl + K) now also finds tools, panels, tours, tips and commands — and runs them right away, e.g. “new layer” or “gif”.
  • More help at dead ends: Bitty speaks up when you paint on a layer with 0 % opacity, with the transparent color 0, under a mask or for a long time in mask mode — with a button that fixes it.
  • Tips now alternate between using the app and pixel art; now and then one comes by itself (“Not on your own” turns that off).
  • Reuse tile sets: in the “Tiles” panel you save a tilemap layer’s set under a name to the project library — and bring it into any other sprite with “New layer”, or put its tiles into another layer with “Apply”. Colors are stored, so the set fits a different palette too.
  • Save and load tile sets as files for other projects — the same files as in the web version; loading also works with a foreign tile image (PNG), which is cut into tiles.
  • Small improvements and fixes.
