I wanted to suggest using the buf cli tool for the proto code generation in the project.
I've set this up to use remote plugins which are pinned at the various versions. This gives much greater control about when to upgrade and it allows devs to be consistent on the various versions of the packages.
Unfortunately, there is no
v0.2.0ofvtprotoon the buf registry, so I've had to go forv0.3.0which appears to add a few more methods.
