Should we remove the 'delay disconnected errors' feature?

I just saw that this: https://github.com/phoenixframework/phoenix_live_view/pull/3680 is in recent LV now. It kind of makes https://github.com/srcrip/live_toast/pull/19 pretty redundant. Do people see value in keeping the work in #19 around or just removing it? Kind of sucks cause we just did the work but it seems like this is just solved upstream now?
