• Refresh today's assignments at local midnight and immediately when returning to the app.
• Validate backup contents before restoring, confirm replacement, preserve progress on cancellation and roll back failed local writes.
• Omit account identity fields from portable backups and record the current app version.
• Add a voluntary student testing guide and study-session feedback template.
• Link public test metrics to current CI results.

Validation: clean lint, 124 unit tests, 553 planner checks, production build and six Chromium browser scenarios pass. Coverage includes open-tab midnight rollover, brief screen locks, invalid backup rejection, restore cancellation, saved progress, mobile/desktop guest workflows and cold offline loading. Authenticated cloud restore and every historical backup format have not been verified.

v6.4.2 — Cleaner daily study, floating feature removed

Remove the floating focus feature entirely and simplify daily study.

• Delete the timer, overlay, picture-in-picture windows and completion popups.
• Show today's scheduled subjects as clean task rows with completion/undo and expandable resources.
• Preserve saved progress, calendar rollover, pending work and tomorrow's preview.

Validation: ESLint clean; 93 unit tests, 553 planner checks and 5 browser scenarios pass. Mobile/desktop completion, undo, AI tutor links, persistence and offline reload verified.

v6.4.1 - Calendar timetable and pending work

Today now follows the local calendar. Yesterday and older unfinished work appear separately, completed work stays recorded, and tomorrow is a read-only preview. Completing today no longer advances into a future timetable.

Daily study capacity is visible during setup, stream cards support the keyboard, and secondary plan tools sit below the study task. Guest plans no longer trigger automatic sign-in popups after creation or recovery. Open sections survive background redraws. The floating focus controls remain available pending the maintainer's requested follow-up.

This release also fixes first-visit offline hydration by precaching built bundles, corrects stale public metrics and project documentation, and updates CI and Pages deployment.

Validation: lint, 101 unit tests, 553 engine checks, six synthetic scheduler benchmarks, production build and five Chromium browser tests. The published CI and Pages workflows passed for commit 3b5da2d. These checks do not establish independent adoption, curriculum accuracy or educational outcomes.
