Watta IDE Extension v0.19.9
Updates since v0.18.135:
- Connect MCP servers over stdio or Streamable HTTP, and use isolated Chrome tools for page inspection, interaction, console checks and screenshots on image-capable models.
- Use Agent, Ask and Plan with host-enforced permissions, applicable project instructions, reversible edit reviews and terminal approval. Agent tools require Starter, Pro or Max and a compatible model.
- Keep local servers running without blocking the agent: managed terminal commands return control after about 1.5 seconds, with output, exit status and stop tools.
- Refresh server capabilities before agent requests and browser/MCP actions. New and changed eligible models are checked automatically; distinguish pending checks and temporary failures from unsupported tools.
- Keep a shared model catalog without a separate Agent filter. New paid-plan setups default to Agent while saved choices and Free Ask access remain available.
- Recover large edit proposals, retain malformed tool details for recovery, and preserve loop protection. Restore a rejected task to the composer without overwriting a newer draft.
- Rename the IDE view to Watta, improve review hover spacing, and refresh the Marketplace title, description and README with signup controls and full-width workflow GIFs.
Validation: 151 tests passed; TypeScript, ESLint, localization checks (8 locales), production build and VSIX archive inspection passed. Source code, credentials, test fixtures and sourcemaps are excluded from the VSIX. Browser tools use installed Chrome on the extension host.
Install from the VS Code Marketplace, or download the VSIX below and use Extensions: Install from VSIX. Requires VS Code 1.90 or newer and a Watta.io account.
