Release list
Undertone 1.18.20
- Pro now includes daily learning and full history. After the beta (Friday, November 6), the free plan shows the last 30 days of meetings and chats; older ones are kept and come back with Pro.
- Everything in Pro stays free until the beta ends.
Undertone 1.18.19
- Buy credits. Out of free credits? Buy a credit pack from the credits sheet: 500, 1,300 or 2,800 credits. They never expire.
- The beta ends on Friday, November 6. Until then everything in Pro stays free.
Undertone 1.18.18
- Free credits now last about a week. New accounts start with 1,000 credits instead of 100.
- Meeting prep, people look-ups and calendar checks use the faster model on free credits, so background work no longer eats the credits meant for your calls and Ask.
Undertone 1.18.17
Undertone learns from each day
- Every evening (or the next time you open it), Undertone looks back over the day's work meetings, Ask chats and ratings.
- It remembers new facts (who owns what, decisions, deadlines) and drops ones that are now out of date.
- It corrects term meanings it got wrong or too generic, and looks up terms that are still unclear in your sources.
- It stops hinting terms you clearly know, and keeps a few lessons that shape tomorrow's hints, answer cards and Ask answers.
- See what it learned on Home under "What Undertone learned", or press "Review now". Turn it off in Settings › "Learn from each day".
Undertone 1.18.16
A tidier setup. The "Pick your sources" step now uses the same tabs as Settings: Connected, Claude connectors and Add a source, instead of one long list.
Undertone 1.18.15
Task chats learn from you. When you're working on a task in Ask and tell it something new, like "this is a DM to Mike", Undertone saves that to memory and rewords the task to match. A small "Task updated" note shows what changed.
Drafts look right. Copy-ready messages now show bold, italics, code and links instead of raw * and <url|title> markup. Copy keeps that formatting when you paste into Slack, Mail or Docs.
"Say more" is now "Elaborate".
Undertone 1.18.14
Undertone Pro is coming. Profile & Settings › General has a new Undertone Pro section: what Pro adds (automatic briefings, research ahead, unlimited meeting prep, study guides, org chart import and private AI credits) and a place for your license key. Every Pro feature stays free for everyone during the beta, and your meetings never leave your Mac either way: a license key holds only your email and when it ends, and it's checked on your Mac.
Undertone 1.18.13
A calmer Home. Your week now sits in one quiet line beside the greeting. Below it are two columns: what's next and your tasks on the left, the latest recap, answer coaching and words to learn on the right. Cards and colored tags gave way to simple sections, task details read as one plain line, and Start and "I know this" appear when you hover. Ask is a slim command bar that lights up when you type.
Undertone 1.18.12
Faster answers about people. Questions like "who reports to Will?" are now answered from your imported org chart right away, in a few seconds, instead of searching your connected sources first.
Undertone 1.18.11
A roomier Home. Cards now stack in columns by height, so a long list no longer leaves empty space beside shorter cards, and the latest recap fills in wherever there's room. Up next rows take only the height they need, and on wide screens Home uses more of the window.
