Minor Changes

  • 1a712a4: Add composable routing policies and smooth, diagram, and authored presets. Configure Bézier or centripetal Catmull–Rom curves, rounded orthogonal routes, independent terminal tangents, passive arc-length labels, fixed label passages, node and label avoidance, final-geometry crossing costs, monotonicity, and incremental route stability through the existing routing strategies.

Fit obstacle-avoiding Bézier policies through compact visibility guides instead of retaining unnecessary orthogonal search detours. Preserve authored anchors, final clearance checks, and crossing costs.

Improve inferred curve joins, automatic attachments, rounded terminal room, same-face loops, independent gap-label normals, duplicate grouped branches, and organic shoulder smoothing while preserving authored waypoints. Add React stories covering every strategy and policy with matched comparisons and incremental controls. Partial and route-only authoring prefer 8px obstacle clearance and outward terminal leads, reducing those preferences when required geometry leaves less room.

  • 817bd9c: Extend bezierRouting.route/update with center-tangent curve fitting, floating and orthogonal attachments, explicit fixed ports, obstacle modes and label-source chains. Route complete chains with shared side reservations and invalidate their dependencies when labels move.

Patch Changes

  • 142d7de: Fix two statechart routing defects: antiparallel labeled pairs in UP and LEFT layouts no longer bend the forward edge into a diagonal through the other label, and labeled feedback edges no longer retrace their label's layer. If a pair or feedback chain still comes out diagonal, the layout is retried with its former routing, and the retry is kept only when it has fewer diagonals overall.
  • 04a2e0d: Keep statechart nodes, routes and labels from overlapping: connected-component compaction now measures every route, label and port in the mirrored UP/LEFT frame, parallel labeled edges only realign an isolated node pair, and feedback chains fall back to a fresh outer track instead of detouring through the layer.
  • 7a12d21: Place movable ports in the order crossing minimization chose for them, as ELK does, instead of their authored order, which crossed and overlapped transitions on fixed-side and free-port states. With model order, order north/south port dummies from the sorted port list and keep separate-layer nodes in place during forced model-order sorting, as ELK does. Parallel labeled transitions no longer move their states onto others in the same layer.
