Thanks to @benjmin-r for three detailed bug reports, all fixed in this release.

Fixes

  • fn.toString() now works after a cold launch. The bytecode cache had removed function source, so panel pages built from injected functions came up empty until a hot reload. This includes the catalog's Radial Menu. (#4, @benjmin-r)
  • Macotron no longer overwrites the workdir's .gitignore. It adds only the lines it needs and now also ignores backups/. It leaves your own lines, negated lines, and files it cannot read as they are. (#5, @benjmin-r)
  • Macotron no longer runs git init in a workdir that is already inside another git repository, such as a dotfiles checkout. (#3, @benjmin-r)

Related fixes found along the way

  • Writes to a settings.json or .gitignore that is a symlink into a dotfiles repo now leave the symlink in place. Edits made through the symlink are now picked up.
  • Renaming a legacy demo- plugin at launch can no longer write default settings over an unreadable settings.json.
