BitChord Dial 1.2.0
BitChord Dial 1.2.0
Home
- The rows under the dials are YouTube Music's own, in its order, and no longer fade out and back in
- Dial settings live in a "..." menu, with a tile style of None, Edge or Glass; Glass tiles bend their artwork along the edge
- Tiles press in like buttons, and albums, artists and playlists open out of their tile; back shrinks the page into it and lands with a small bounce
- "DIAL" in Tiny5 LCD capitals, and the mark, DIAL and the selected tab wear the playing song's colour
- Pinned mixes like Discover Mix and Supermix keep their current cover, and new art wipes in over the old
- The speed dial shows a played album or playlist instead of its songs, and library plays show among the recents
- No more blur over Explore, and Home never rests half-way between the dials and Explore
Player
- A One UI 9 style wave progress bar
- The output button shows earbuds, headphones, a speaker, a car or the phone
- Hold the cover to open its album; Hide song status also hides the handle
- Crossfade no longer fades into silence when the next song is still loading, or leaves a break at the end
- Queue: tighter controls, glass queue-mode buttons, albums and playlists that keep loading in the background, no duplicates on repeat-all, and history can be turned off
Lyrics
- NetEase and PetitLyrics, KuGou word timing, and word-by-word on Automatic
- Hold the lyrics button to choose a provider for that song; the drawer shows each one's status and which are word-synced
- Timestamped lyrics are preferred, and a match has to agree on title, artist and length
- Instrumental breaks show a note and a bar filling to the next line; turning Synced lyrics off still keeps lyrics
Library and pages
- A YouTube Music / Local / All picker, a suggestions grid and a floating shuffle button
- Collaborations are split into their artists, and an album belongs to whoever is on most of its tracks
- Choose an album's art from its files, or a playlist's cover from the device
- Matched files show YouTube Music's details, and a Duplicates page lists detected copies
- Artist pages get a Local toggle for the artist's files and downloads, a "..." menu and an artwork-coloured Play
- Detail page controls stop under the top bar, and album pages show the album's own cover
Search
- An Addons tab that searches every enabled addon at once, with a quality badge on each result
- Swipe on the top result and recent tracks, hold a recent search for its menu, and searches stay out of your history unless you submit them
Everywhere else
- Swipe right on a song to play it next, left to add it to the queue
- Liquid glass app icons in light and dark, picked in Settings
- A Song Info panel, artist signatures, and a Stats page in the account menu
- Spotify sign-in from a full-screen overlay, Download All for saved Spotify playlists
- The song cache keeps songs across updates and offline; the equalizer uses a limiter so boosts stop clipping
- Settings search stays in the top bar once scrolled
- Fixes for Chromecast, Discord status, premium albums, long playlists, queue reorder crashes and Listen Together polling; signing out keeps Discord and Spotify connected

Home
- The speed dial is Home's first screen, with an artists' dial as a second page (pinned artists, then your most played)
- Hold a tile for its menu: an artist menu (View artist, speed dial, Shuffle, Start radio, Favorite), remove from dial, show or hide its title
- Drag pins to reorder: the pins jiggle and the rest dim
- I'm Feeling Lucky: a die on the dial that starts a radio from your recent, most-played and liked songs
- Every dial ends on a full page, with a History tile: the last 50 songs, or the last 20 artists
- Hold the "BitChord Dial" title to rename it and set the grid, artists' dial, die, tile names and pin icons
- A new launch animation, a logo that spins on pull-to-refresh, and a soft blur at the top of Explore
Everywhere else
- Artist pages get Start radio and a pin button, and liquid glass buttons
- Release pages load without jumping, and their songs fade in row by row
- The miniplayer shows progress as a glow in the cover's colour, and swipes between songs; a next button is optional
- A–Z index on library lists, cropped non-square artwork (optional), glass search switch
- Song cache up to 50 GB, in 5 GB steps
- Check for updates in Settings › Miscellaneous
