A Cute style, a cover calendar, more quote cards, and faster redraws.

New cards

• Cover calendar: every day of the month with the cover of the book you read most that day, with its own Dashboard tab, Calendar. Tap a day for its books; Today jumps back to this month.
• Week in covers: this week's covers in one row, as a card or in the Mini dashboard.
• Quote of the day 2, 3 and 4: each shows a random highlight of its own, never the same one as your other quote cards.

Style: Default or Cute

Long-press the Dashboard (or Look and colours on any card) > Style > Cute turns on every cute look at once:

• Hearts instead of rings
• A peony for the Monthly challenge
• A garden for the Book club
• A jar of hearts for the Year goal
• Notebook paper for the quote cards
• Polaroids for the cover calendars
• A scrapbook for Continue reading
• Sticky notes for Reading trends
• Book spines and hearts for the charts
• A sky for Today's timeline
• A desk calendar for the Finish forecast

Also

• Wallpaper: single cards over a see-through wallpaper are drawn as solid cards, like the Dashboard's, instead of putting text straight onto the picture.
• Control center buttons can show a PNG or JPEG of your own
• Faster: cards that haven't changed are copied instead of redrawn, and a tab draws whole in one go.

Install: Tools > Reading Log > Check for updates, or replace the readinglog.koplugin folder and restart. Your settings are kept.

New

• Four new languages: Spanish, French, Brazilian Portuguese and Italian. The cards, the Dashboard and all their settings follow the language KOReader is showing.

• Wallpaper and transparency. With a Simple UI wallpaper on, the Dashboard follows its Background Opacity . The date, the time and the page titles at the top get a framed plate behind them, like the tab bar, so they stay readable on any wallpaper. Without a wallpaper they look as before.

• Check for updates. KOReader menu > Tools > Reading Log > Check for updates looks for a newer release, shows what's new, and installs it when you say so. Restart KOReader afterwards; your settings are kept.

Improved

• Tab names that are too long for their tab (in another language, or a name of your own) get smaller to fit instead of being cut off.
• Today's timeline follows KOReader's 12/24-hour clock setting.

Updating

Replace the readinglog.koplugin folder and restart KOReader. Your settings are kept. From this version on, you can update from the Reading Log menu instead.

• Reading trends: your last 90 days against your year (time, pages, reading days, session length, speed, books finished).
• Monthly challenge: one goal for the month, picked from your last three months or set by you.
• Finish forecast: when you'll finish the books you're reading at your recent pace, and where your year is heading.
• This week vs last: your average a day this week against last week (or month, or year).
• Today's timeline: each sitting today on a line through the day.
• Control centre: up to 8 buttons for any action, with brightness and warmth.
• Library stats, Most-read authors, Random pick (only the next book of a series) and Quote of the day (from your own highlights).
• Mini dashboard: one row of up to three small cards for the top of the home screen.
• Dashboard: Trends and Library pages, up to 7 tabs, move tabs, remove pages you added, reset the whole Dashboard.
• Text size for every card and for the whole Dashboard.
• Finish dates: a book reopened for a moment no longer moves to today's date.
