v0.11.0
EdenText 0.11.0 brings custom paper sizes: a page takes its own width and height, and a custom
size in a DOCX or ODT file survives opening and saving instead of falling back to A4. The accent
colour can be picked freely, and the spell-check language can also be set in Settings. Display
formulas keep their paragraph's alignment, picture watermarks import centred and washed out, and a
tab opened before an update of a self-hosted instance can still save.
Thanks to @farragoo for suggesting custom paper sizes and accent colours (#14, #15).
Added
- Custom paper sizes: Layout ▸ Size takes a width and height in cm (1–600); the longer side
sets the orientation, and the AI assistant accepts a custom size too - A custom accent colour in Settings ▸ General, with a colour picker and a hex field
- Spell-check language also in Settings ▸ Editing, kept in step with the ribbon and status bar
Fixed
- A custom page size in DOCX and ODT files, also per section, is kept instead of turning into A4
- Display formulas stand at their paragraph's alignment, also in Firefox and WebKit, and DOCX
formula alignment is read and written - A picture watermark imports centred behind the text and washed out; greyscale and monochrome
pictures keep their colour mode in both formats - A heading in a table cell renders by the file's heading style
- DOCX runs without their own size or font keep the style's, and a block's own size and font are
saved onto its text - Table-break markers, page borders, watermarks, change bars and line numbers follow their own
page and section - Thin lines beside the page grid after zooming are gone
- Saving works in a tab opened before the app was updated; a missing part of an old build reports
the update instead of a script blocker - The storage-full warning says the document outgrew browser storage and can still be saved as a
file
