EdenText 0.12.0 takes the document name from the saved file; Firefox, Safari and Brave, which save files as downloads, ask for the name in Edentext. The style manager fits its window and offers the toolbar's font
sizes and a list of line widths. Each page shows its number beside the sheet, the ruler has finer
marks, and line spacing goes up to 3. Password-protected ODF files and font embedding also work
on a self-hosted instance served over plain HTTP.

Thanks to @farragoo and @sbvelinga for reporting #17, #16.

Added

  • Page numbers beside the sheet, at each page's bottom right corner; Settings ▸ View turns
    them off
  • Line widths from a list or typed in pt for borders in the style manager, the border pens and
    text boxes
  • Line spacing 2.5 and 3; the paragraph dialog also shows an imported factor such as 1.25
  • Finer ruler marks at quarter and half centimetres, thinned out as the zoom leaves room

Fixed

  • Saving names the document after the saved file; Firefox, Safari and Brave save as a download,
which never reports the name, so there the first Save and every Save As ask for it
  • The style manager keeps its preview and fits its fields; font sizes come from the toolbar's list
in the style manager and the find bar, limited to 1–400 pt, on one row with font and colour
  • A border's No color removes the line, and None on Default text's border removes it
  • A picked No color or Automatic is outlined instead of filled
  • Password-protected ODF files, font embedding and copying work over plain HTTP
  • Only edentext.app counts visits; self-hosted, Docker and desktop builds send no count request
  • With autosave off, the File menus offer no stored documents or recent files
  • A click that focuses the editor keeps its caret, also on a busy page in Firefox
  • A held Enter keeps the caret on the page, also in multi-column sections and the page grid
  • A header or footer taller than the page leaves the body its share of the page
  • The page grid shows the pages a scroll lands on
  • Zooming out leaves no line beside the page
