UUPD Server 2.2.0 expands licence self-service with key rotation, child keys, shared activation limits, and new administration tools. It also adds optional per-licence event history and more useful licence-list filtering.
Added
- Customer key management: Rotate owned keys via the UUPD Licence Keys block,
[uupd_license_keys]shortcode and supported account pages. - Child licences: Create separate child keys with notes, activation caps and connected-site management. Edit, revoke or delete them from the customer manager or admin licence editor.
- Flexible controls: Site and per-licence rotation/child-creation permissions; configurable child-key limits. New child creation is off by default.
- Improved interface: Collapsible child-key lists with searching and filtering, copy actions, clear confirmations and specific feedback.
- Activity history and discovery: Optional private 20-event licence history and licence-list filters for username, order reference, expiry and download.
- Documentation: Guides for administrators, site settings and customers.
Changed
- Master and child keys share a master activation allowance; child validity depends on the master's status and expiry.
- Disabling inherited child creation revokes existing children by default unless you opt to keep them active.
- Customer purchase pages show relevant key-management actions only; WordPress admin list actions have clearer labels.
- Integrations may format an order-reference link with
uupd_license_order_reference_html.
Fixed
- Invalidated rotated keys and unusable master/child licence chains cannot continue to pass applicable validation and download checks.
- Disconnected child-key sites fail domain-specific checks until reactivated.
- A stale rotation success notice no longer persists following later settings changes.
