Hi! Does this package support the ability to run commands through a pseudo terminal, with the ability to intercept input/outputs?

@Ernest0-Production yes (if I understood your question correctly). Here's an example of a mini shell:

_ = try await Subprocess.run(
    .path("/bin/sh"),
    error: .standardError,
    preferredBufferSize: 1
) { execution, standardInputWriter, standardOutput in
    try await withThrowingTaskGroup { group in
        group.addTask {
            while let line = readLine() {
                _ = try await standardInputWriter.write("\(line)\n")
                if line == "exit" {
                    break
                }
            }
        }
        group.addTask {
            for try await line in standardOutput.lines() {
                print(line, terminator: "")
            }
        }
        try await group.waitForAll()
    }
}

If you run this snippet, you will be able to type in commands and have sh interpret them, then have the result displayed like a normal shell would.

@iCharlesHu it looks like a regular command run.

I decided to ask this question because I did not find any sign of Pty support in the project sources: I know that Darwin.forkpty must be used for this, but I assumed that there were other ways.

An example of whether there really is support for a pseudo terminal might be "sudo" command in interactive mode.

If it not pseudoterminal, then u don't see input handler.

Ahh I see what you mean. Unfortunately Subprocess doesn't have support for creating pty yet. I'll see if we can get this one in before the 1.0 tag.
