Highlights

• English and Chinese UI with a browser language preference. English is now the main README, and both READMEs use demo screenshots without real conversations or project data.
• Installer guidance for Tailscale private HTTPS access, plus direct-connection guidance. Install and sign in to the official Tailscale client separately.
• Clearer conversation outcomes, interruption and synchronization feedback. Automatic recovery no longer leaves routine permission notices or stale operation failures on screen.
• A single restart check lists active sessions and offers the appropriate restart action. Background list reads do not count as running Codex tasks; execution checks activity again.
• Git history uses commit/file sections. Files open directly in a desktop dialog or narrow-screen fullscreen view, with previous/next navigation, keyboard support, and retained reading position/cache when reopening the same file.

Compatibility and verification

Codex CLI >=0.160.1, stable and recognizable, remains required. The bundled Node runtime stays at 24.20.0. Application updates do not upgrade Codex CLI or install Tailscale automatically. Runtime dependency lock entries are unchanged.

Official 0.1.8 → 0.1.9 running-instance updates were verified on both platforms using the old package's original Update.cmd / Update.sh. Configuration, authentication, application data and external project files were preserved, post-update login passed, and the isolated test instances were stopped. Use the full package when platform/runtime fingerprints or installation checks do not match; older direct upgrades were not verified in this release.

These test groups overlap and are not added into a single independent total. Verification used isolated data and no model requests. Windows package preparation needed an isolated retry for a locked DLL and sandbox DNS. An old-package QA comparison initially sampled configuration before its first startup normalization; the harness baseline was moved to immediately before the update and the full flow rerun. These were verification-environment/harness corrections, with no product changes.

Known nonblocking item: when both Git-history sections are collapsed, their headings retain extra vertical spacing. Real-device iOS/Safari, Linux browser UI and opt-in Linux systemd integration were not tested in this release.

All archives were built from commit a36acbef28acb4e40a89a61950029814b8f4abca. Download the platform-specific full package or app update ZIP and verify it against the attached SHA256SUMS.txt.
