i think this bergie/hallo#115 fixes the issue. but hallo isnt easily upgradable...shouldnt we bump the hallo version?

the image insertion with hallo is very flaky and does not work for a lot of people, unfotunately. (others have problem at uploading time already). we intend to switch to ckeditor as default to get rid of the issues. but the create.js ckeditor integration has a bug that is quite annoying as well: bergie/create#178

frontend editing really is in need of some love from a js developper that can fix issues.

maybe i should join the cmf irc and see what your needs are, and what i can do :)

ckeditor looks fine, but there is no image upload functionality right? :/

there is, since very recently, see #62

for now its just as simplistic as with hallo (uploading the images into some phpcr root folder, naming them after the file name so you can only upload the same image once). but people are working on elfinder integration so we would have fancy image browsing.

sure, come to #symfony-cmf on irc.freenode.org and start to ask, we sure will be happy to help you getting started to contribute ;-)
