v2.0.132
OpenScience 2.0.132 fixes conversation file links and image previews, and keeps active work running through routine sign-in token refreshes.
Files and images
- Open files directly from a conversation. Links now find files in connected workspace folders, including generated outputs excluded by Git ignore rules. Shortened paths such as
figs/diagram.svgand unique filenames resolve inside the folders the conversation can access. - Keep folder permissions intact. Previews preserve read-only access, reject ambiguous matches, and stop opening files when access is revoked.
- Open the image that was generated. The image thumbnail and Open image button use the saved conversation attachment, so a renamed or removed workspace image no longer breaks its preview.
- Close previews cleanly. Image dialogs release their focus and accessibility state when their view closes.
Sessions and activity
- Continue working during token refresh. Routine ChatGPT/Codex OAuth renewal no longer interrupts active work with a “credentials changed” error. Signing out or changing accounts still revokes the old credentials.
- Keep internal tool notices in activity details. Messages such as “Tools added: edit, write” appear in the activity disclosure instead of the main answer.
Includes fixes from #709, #710, #711, and #712.
The Windows desktop installer is unsigned while Microsoft Artifact Signing setup is incomplete.
