v1.0.59
Immutable
release. Only release title and notes can be modified.
- The journal is rebuilt, after the Ultima V port's: the main quest, towns, rumours, dungeons, Ambrosia, equipment and words, each opening to more, with a card over the party panel saying where the highlighted line stands and a hint on H (Y on a controller).
- The main quest lists the steps to Exodus, in any order after the king, each shown once something has told of it and opening to every clue heard about it - townsfolk, pub rumours and the oracle's verses alike.
- Towns count each town's clues heard; Dawn and the towns on isles are a mystery until found or told of. Rumours lists the pubs' nine rumours, and the oracle's rhyme once the party has met him, in order as heard. Dungeons count what each holds for the quest found, and Ambrosia its shrines' cards.
- Equipment tracks a guild's supplies, the magic weapons and armour, a ship, and the moongates come out of, with how the moons choose the way.
- Words for Other are learnt by hearing them said. On a controller, Other offers only the words learnt; a keyboard may type any word, as before.
- A new cheat, Add word, learns a word for Other early, typed on the on-screen keyboard on a controller.
- The on-screen keyboard's last row reads DEL and DONE, DONE in the lower-right corner for a pad without a Y button, and the hint line under it is gone.
- The map calls the town beside Lord British's castle Britain, as the Tips and the journal do.
- A game saved before this release keeps its journal: the words already heard are learnt, and the dungeons' marks already taken are found.
