v0.3.2
New
- The overlay window uses the program's icon, so it shows in Alt+Tab (and on Linux, wherever your desktop shows window icons).

v0.3.1
New
- The program has its own icon: a pixel-art cargo crate and star in the banner's colours. It shows in Explorer, the taskbar and the console window.

No changes in how the tracker works.
The Linux build is attached automatically a few minutes after publishing.
v0.3.0
New
- UEX syncs on the overlay. When trades are sent to your UEX account, the overlay shows it, e.g. "Synced to UEX: #21, #22" (or "(test mode)"). Reversals after
cancel-trade, rejections and "Can't reach UEX" show too. The console's sync line now names the trades as well. routes --budget AMOUNT. Plan runs around what you can spend: each route is limited to the whole SCU your budget buys (as well as your cargo space and what's on offer), sorted by the profit that makes, with SCU and COST columns. Amounts like250000,250,000,250kor1.5mwork, e.g.routes --budget 250korroutes Port Tressler --scu 96 --budget 100k.
Fixed
- Routes no longer repeat the system for stations whose name already includes it, e.g. "Stanton Gateway (Pyro) (Pyro)".
The Linux build is attached automatically a few minutes after publishing.

v0.2.0
New: Linux build
star-cargo-tracker-linux-x86_64.tar.gzruns on Ubuntu 22.04 and newer (x86-64). Extract it and run./star-cargo-tracker.- Finds Star Citizen inside Wine prefixes:
$WINEPREFIX, the LUG Helper's~/Games/star-citizen, other folders in~/Games(e.g. Lutris),~/.wine, and Steam's Proton prefixes. - Keeps your data in
~/.local/share/star-cargo-tracker, andexportsaves to your Documents folder. - The overlay is best-effort on Linux: it usually works on X11, but on Wayland it may not stay above the game or in the corner.
See Linux in the README.
Windows
- No changes in behaviour. Download
star-cargo-tracker.exeas before.
The Linux build is attached automatically a few minutes after publishing.
v0.1.3
Fixed
- The exe no longer fails to start on PCs without the Microsoft Visual C++ runtime ("VCRUNTIME140.dll was not found"). The runtime is now built into the exe, so it runs on a fresh Windows 10 or 11 install.
v0.1.2
New
export: saves your trades, sales and profit, write-offs, unsold cargo and ships to an Excel workbook (one sheet each, with filters). With no path it goes in your Documents folder.
Security fixes
- Updated rustls (the library behind the HTTPS connections to UEX) to 0.23.46, fixing RUSTSEC-2026-0346, 0347, 0348 and 0349.
- Text from UEX and the Star Citizen Wiki has control characters removed, so it can't send escape codes to your terminal.
STAR_CARGO_UEX_URLmust now be anhttps://address, so your UEX secret key is never sent unencrypted.
