v0.2.0
Breaking changes
seednet.url=is the directory of a NoCloud seed, asds=nocloud;s=takes it, and ends in/.
The initrd fetchesmeta-dataanduser-data, which the seed must have, andvendor-dataand
network-config, which it may not. The rootfs hands the seed to cloud-init in
/var/lib/cloud/seed/nocloud; give the kernelds=nocloudfor cloud-init to take it.seednet.checksum=is gone, and fails the boot if it is left on the command line. Fetch the
seed overhttpsto keep it from being tampered with.
Upgrading
-seednet.url=https://boot.example.com/hosts/web1/network-config seednet.checksum=sha256:...
+seednet.url=https://boot.example.com/seed/web1/ ds=nocloudand serve meta-data and user-data next to the network-config.
New
seednet.url=takes{hostname},{domainname}and{fqdn}(level 1 of RFC 6570) from the
DHCPv4 lease, so that one command line fetches the seed of each host:
seednet.url=https://boot.example.com/seed/{hostname}/.
Fixes
- With NetworkManager, seednet warns when
nmclicannot tell the names of DHCP, rather than wait
for them without saying why.
End-to-end tests
- The images are built for the architecture of the host, and
E2E_MIRROR_<DISTRO>names a mirror
for their packages.
What's Changed
- chore(deps): update registry.fedoraproject.org/fedora:44 docker digest to 1ff9eb0 by @renovate[bot] in #1
