Kikumap 1.0.1

Icons, tag categories and easier map navigation, plus every known issue listed in 1.0 fixed.

New

• Icons on tags and topics: tags and topics can carry a line icon, from a picker of about 130 (Lucide). Right-click a topic → Icon → More icons.
• Tags by category: Progress, Output and Other, each with matching icons, new starter tags, and a heading you can fold.
• Map keys: ↑ ↓ carry on through topics at the same level, and ⌥↑ ⌥↓ can move an item into the next topic.
• Timeline: a 24-hour range, and the range in use is always highlighted.
• Refresh turns when you press it, and Export, Topic and Mark all read have icons.

Better

• Widget: after Kikumap quits (or nothing has come from it for hours), the widget keeps the last numbers and lists, dimmed, marked "as of 22:50", instead of dashes.
• A chat waiting for you stays visible: while Claude's row says it's waiting, the chat keeps its "!" and its place in the menu and widget, even if you marked it read.
• Claude Code permissions: once the session's terminal or editor comes to the front, it shows "needs you?" without the "!", since you may have answered there. The time that approved step took counts as ≈.
• Time: an estimate (≈) no longer takes time away from a chat that was seen working.

Fixed

• Export: a new chat with the same name as an archived chat that's no longer pinned gets a folder of its own, instead of writing over that chat's files.
• Export: the scheduled run no longer applies an older Claude data export over a newer one.
• Export window: unticking a sub-topic now leaves it out, even with its parent ticked.
• Export: a chat that finishes while you're looking at it in Claude is now seen as changed, so its summary updates.
• Import no longer attaches Finder's hidden files.
• Chats with a one-character title now work in every Claude language.
• The "!" in the menu-bar tooltip now says "needs you" (an approval, an answer, or an error stop), not only "approval".

Install

Download Kikumap.dmg, open it and drag Kikumap to Applications. After updating, macOS warns once that it can't check the app: click Done, then System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway. If the desktop widget still shows its old picture, macOS hasn't switched to the new one yet: remove the widget and add it again.

Known limits

• Kikumap reads Claude's chats from its window. While the window is closed (⌘W only hides it) or on another desktop, chats that were running show "running?" until it's back.
• Claude sends no notification when an ordinary chat's reply finishes. With Full Disk Access, and Claude's notifications allowed, Kikumap still hears when Claude needs your approval or an answer, and when a Cowork task finishes.
• From ChatGPT, only the Codex chats it keeps on your Mac show. Ordinary ChatGPT chats live online (planned for 1.1).
• Claude Code or Codex running on another computer, a server or in the cloud can't be seen.

新功能

• 标签和主题可以带图标： 从约 130 个线条图标（Lucide）里选。右键主题 → 图标 → 更多图标。
• 标签分类： 任务进度、产出、其他，各有匹配的图标，还加了一些默认标签，分类可以折叠。
• 导图按键： ↑ ↓ 可以走到同级的其他主题里，⌥↑ ⌥↓ 可以把条目移到下一个主题。
• 时间线： 新增 24 小时，当前选中的范围一直高亮。
• 刷新按下时会转一下；导出、主题、全部已读加了图标。

改进

• 小组件： Kikumap 退出后（或几小时没有消息），小组件保留最后的数字和列表，变灰并标「22:50 时的数据」，不再显示「–」。
• 等你处理的对话不会消失： 只要 Claude 那边还显示在等待，这个对话的「!」和它在菜单、小组件里的位置都会保留，就算你标了已读。
• Claude Code 权限请求： 会话所在的终端或编辑器回到前台后，显示「需要你操作？」且不带「!」，因为你可能已经在那边批准了。批准的那一步用的时间按 ≈ 计入。
• 时长： 估算的时长（≈）不再占用被实际看到在工作的对话的时间。

修复

• 导出：新对话和已不再置顶的已存档对话同名时，会用自己的文件夹，不再覆盖那个对话的文件。
• 导出：定时运行不再用较旧的 Claude 导出包覆盖较新的内容。
• 导出窗口：取消勾选子主题现在会生效，就算父主题勾着。
• 导出：你在 Claude 里看着它跑完的对话，现在算作有变化，总结会更新。
• 导入不再附上访达的隐藏文件。
• 标题只有一个字的对话，现在在 Claude 的所有语言下都能用。
• 菜单栏提示里的「!」现在写「要你处理」（批准、回答或出错停下），不只是「批准」。

安装

下载 Kikumap.dmg，打开后把 Kikumap 拖到「应用程序」。更新后 macOS 会提示一次无法检查：点「完成」，再到 系统设置 → 隐私与安全性 → 仍要打开。如果桌面小组件还是旧画面，说明 macOS 还没换上新版：把小组件移除再添加一次。

已知限制

• Kikumap 从 Claude 的窗口读对话。窗口关着（⌘W 只是藏起来）或在别的桌面时，在跑的对话显示「在跑？」，等窗口回来再更新。
• 普通对话回复完，Claude 不发通知。开了「完全磁盘访问」并允许 Claude 发通知的话，Claude 要你批准或回答、Cowork 任务做完时，Kikumap 照样知道。
• ChatGPT 这边只显示它存在你 Mac 上的 Codex 对话；普通 ChatGPT 聊天存在云端（计划在 1.1 支持）。
• 别的电脑、服务器或云端跑的 Claude Code / Codex 看不到。

Kikumap now shows only what it can confirm. When it can't see something (Claude's window is closed or on another desktop, a Codex task has gone quiet, a sync problem), it says so ("running?", "2?", "as of 12:29", "not synced") and tells you how to fix it, instead of guessing.

New

• Claude's and ChatGPT's usage side by side in the window header, each row marked with its service; numbers from an earlier read say so.
• Refresh and search at the top of the left column.
• Statistics and the widget's chart use your map's branch colours (grey for chats without one).
• Finder-style keys on the map: ⌥↑ / ⌥↓ move an item, ⌘↓ opens it, ⌘↑ goes up to its topic.
• A first-run page showing what Kikumap can and can't see.
• "Needs you" when Claude is waiting for your approval or an answer.
• Time Kikumap couldn't see is estimated and marked ≈ (in the timeline, Today, Statistics and the widget), from your own typical run length.
• Claude in any of its 11 interface languages: running, unread, waiting, export and import all work.

Better

• The widget says "as of …" when its picture is old, and redraws sparingly so macOS doesn't freeze it.
• Scripted runs (claude -p, codex exec) no longer ding or stay unread.
• Export opens chats by their address, keeps each chat's files together when you refile it, skips a disk that isn't connected, and carries on later when you come back mid-run. Import attaches the summary as a file.
• Daylight saving, time-zone changes and clock changes are handled; a file that can't be saved is retried; only one copy of Kikumap runs at a time.

Install

Known issues (fixes planned for 1.0.1)

• A chat waiting for your approval that you've already marked read (or looked at in Claude) still says "needs you" in the window, but loses the menu-bar "!" and its place in the menu and widget.
• A Claude Code permission you answer in the terminal keeps showing "needs you" until the approved step finishes.
• When an estimated stretch of one chat overlaps another chat's run, their shared time isn't marked ≈.
• Export: a new chat with the same name as an archived chat that's no longer pinned is written into that chat's folder. Rename one of them to keep both.
• Export: the scheduled summary run can apply an older Claude data export over a newer one if the newer zip was removed from Downloads.
• Export window: unticking a sub-topic while its parent topic stays ticked doesn't leave it out.
• Export: a chat that runs and finishes while you're looking at it in Claude may keep its older summary until it changes again.

Kikumap 1.0（中文）

改进

• 小组件的画面旧了会写「xx:xx 的数据」；请求重绘更省，macOS 不会把它卡住。
• 脚本跑的任务（claude -p、codex exec）不再响提示音，也不会一直未读。
• 导出按地址打开对话；对话换了主题，它的文件一起搬过去；外接盘没接上时跳过；你回来打断后，下次空闲接着做。导入时总结作为附件发进去。
• 夏令时、换时区、改系统时间都处理好了；存不进去的文件会自动重试；同一时间只会运行一个 Kikumap。

• 在终端里批准了 Claude Code 的权限请求后，要等批准的那一步做完，「需要你操作」才会消失。
• 一个对话的估算时段和另一个对话的运行重叠时，平分的那段时间没有标 ≈。
• 导出：新对话和一个已不再置顶的已存档对话同名时，会写进那个对话的文件夹。改个名就能两个都保留。
• 导出：如果较新的导出包从「下载」里移走了，定时总结可能会用较旧的 Claude 导出包覆盖较新的内容。
• 导出窗口：父主题勾着时，取消勾选它下面的子主题不会生效。
