Install

flatpak install --user icloud-drive-0.2.0.flatpak

Flathub supplies the GNOME 49 runtime if it is not already installed. The first launch asks you to sign in. Later launches reuse that session.

Turn on Start when you log in to start sync at login with the window hidden. The panel icon opens the window. If sync stops on its own, the window opens and a notification tells you to press Start. Quit stops sync without that alert. ~/iCloud Drive stays on disk either way.
