tb_openBrowser's real-device pre-flight now understands regexdeviceName/platformVersion(#6, #8). The hub reads both as regexes (docs) and even suggests one when a device is busy, but the pre-flight treated them as plain names:iPhone (16|17|Air).*was stripped toiphone1617air, matched only the busy iPhone 16, and the request was refused as busy while iPhone 17 and iPhone Air were free.platformVersion: "26.*"was compared exactly and reported as "not offered". Values containing regex syntax are now matched as case-insensitive patterns; an invalid pattern, or one that matches nothing in the catalog, defers to the hub instead of blocking. A lone.doesn't count as regex syntax, so plain versions like16.0still match16. -
tb_getAttributereturns live form state (#7). It used W3C Get Element Attribute for every name, which returns the value from the markup — so readingvalueaftertb_typestill reported the input's original contents. The tool description steers agents to read'value'exactly this way.value, checkedandselectedare now read from the DOM property; every other name is unchanged.
Testing
- The integration suites no longer depend on example.com's markup, which dropped its
<h1>and now asks not to be relied on for testing. Element-level checks run against an injected fixture; example.com is used only for navigation and title. Stale assertions for the markdown snapshot format and the screenshot result shape were updated, and the nightly run is green again.
Unit tests: 156 → 162.
