Upgrading

  • Run kit:update plan|apply for core (re-pinned sha256:9c537146…d352 → sha256:abe29379…903c): Kit/Layout/StickyBar.vue takes the fix below.
  • Run kit:update plan|apply for shell (re-pinned sha256:7d050930…b222 → sha256:0daa7d88…a5b5): Partials/Wordmark.vue and Partials/FocusShell.vue take the mark changes below. kit:status now flags a kit.brand.logomark with no file in public/: add the SVG, or set KIT_BRAND_LOGOMARK.

Fixed

  • A StickyBar at the viewport's foot counts as pinned, however it got there. Until now a bar counted as pinned only when it was scrolled to the foot or held there with pinned. A host that lays the Workbench out itself (:fill="false" in its own full-height column) put the actions bar at the foot without either, so bottom toasts weren't lifted above it. A bar whose bottom is within 12px of the viewport's (room for its container's gap) now counts as pinned, re-checked on scroll, window resize and layout resize.
  • The shell's mark can't blow up the bar. None of the --shell-mark-* tokens (height, max width, brightness, invert) had a fallback, so a host theme without them showed the logomark at its natural size, 100px or more for an SVG. Each now has a default (2rem high, 10rem wide at most, no filter), and the images are capped to the box with object-contain.
  • FocusShell takes a #mark slot, like GuestShell and PublicShell, to replace the product symbol inside the home link.
  • kit:status flags a missing logomark. A kit.brand.logomark public path (/logomark.svg by default) with no file behind it 404s in every shell bar and favicon. It's now an attention step for a host with the shell, never blocking. A URL or no logomark isn't checked.
