• Checkout::artifact() reads back one installed lineage as the verified Artifact Mod recorded, to pass as the original when planning an upgrade (#195).
• Checkout::pending() lists every unfinished update with its lineage name, saved intent and target artifact identity, so a host can resume it (#198).
