  • [change] remove admin based option to select plugin source - this can cause issues in case the plugin is hosted simultaneously on WP.org and somewhere else - capability to handle other sources remains, but is set by plugin author (see updated examples)

  • [fix] properly sanitize input and escape output

  • use production-ready folder structure in repository for easier reference

  • update example files
