Release list
0.3.1
Documentation
- Document the observed Apple TV secondary-profile case where CloudKit returned the default profile's account despite a correctly signed current-user app.
- Add a privacy-safe account-versus-store diagnostic path and an owner-coordinated profile re-addition recovery path.
- Clarify that CloudSaveKit binds the account verified by CloudKit; consumers must establish isolation with two real profiles.
This release contains no public API or runtime behavior changes.
CloudSaveKit 0.3.0
CloudSaveKit 0.3.0 adds reusable personal iCloud collections while preserving existing engine and sharing APIs.
CloudSavePrivateCoordinatorowns account verification, account-change monitoring, exact private-manifest provisioning, conditional creation, and canonical-winner reconciliation.CloudSavePrivateSessionpermanently binds a verified account, zone, and host store to the existingCloudSaveEngine, with exact record/asset reads and terminal suspension/invalidation.- Personal sessions fail closed on trusted manifest loss or identity drift, reject stale work, drain admitted host callbacks before replacement, and preserve network-failure classification for trusted offline use.
- Hosts keep their record schema, local database, media, pending ledger, and UI. The DocC integration guide uses a neutral notebook example and documents checkpoint retirement/recovery ordering.
Validated with 87 tests across 15 suites, strict formatting, build, DocC, and repository checks. Signed application startup and real device/profile acceptance remain each consumer's responsibility.
Includes the exact Agent Guidelines 0.0.42 integration. No new package dependencies.
CloudSaveKit 0.2.6
Changed
- Adopted Agent Guidelines
0.0.33and the strict Swift 6 package compiler-settings baseline. - Made imports, access control, documentation, and existential types explicit where required by the new policy.
Validated with passing exact-head PR CI and local package tests.
CloudSaveKit 0.2.5
Documentation
- Added public DocC guides for host integration, explicit synchronization, shared custom zones, and troubleshooting.
- Documented required CloudKit, Push Notifications, background-mode, signing, and provisioning configuration.
- Clarified durable host responsibilities, checkpoint provenance, transfer-count attribution, shared-zone recovery, and two-device acceptance.
- Updated the Swift Package Manager installation example to
0.2.5.
This release contains no public API or runtime behavior changes.
CloudSaveKit 0.2.4
Preserves an explicit bootstrap fetch across the initial matching sign-in reconciliation of a nil-state CKSyncEngine while retaining full invalidation for every later account transition.
CloudSaveKit 0.2.3
CloudSaveKit 0.2.3 surfaces privacy-safe fetch-stage diagnostics for database discovery, configured-zone delivery, and dirty-state transitions.
Configured-zone fetch errors now fail their qualifying explicit freshness request instead of allowing the outer fetch generation to report false success. Later successful qualifying generations remain valid.
CloudSaveKit 0.2.2
CloudSaveKit 0.2.2 makes explicit fetch and sync requests wait for a post-request CKSyncEngine fetch generation and all related host applies.
It also serializes explicit fetch, send, and sync operations per engine while preserving automatic CKSyncEngine scheduling. This is a backward-compatible correctness update for manual synchronization, including shared CloudKit zones.
CloudSaveKit 0.2.1
CloudSaveKit 0.2.1 restores a share participant's durable pending record changes after initial iCloud account sign-in without attempting to create the owner's shared zone.
This is a backward-compatible correctness update for applications using shared CKSyncEngine zones.
CloudSaveKit 0.2.0
CloudSaveKit 0.2.0 adds explicit owned and shared custom-zone support.
- Preserve existing owned private-zone recovery.
- Synchronize participant zones through
sharedCloudDatabasewithout recreating them. - Surface
CloudSaveEngineError.reconfigurationRequiredwhen shared topology changes. - Add
CloudSaveSharingCoordinatorfor private zone-wide share creation, acceptance, and discovery.
