Artifacture 0.8.0

Artifacture now installs like a normal npm package or agent skill. Setup handles dependencies, stylesheet imports, and the bundled skill runtime automatically.

Install the skill:

npx skills add theclaymethod/artifacture --skill visual-explainer

Use components in an existing React project:

npm install artifacture
npx artifacture add charts video

Start a project:

npx artifacture init my-explainer
cd my-explainer
npm run dev

Includes 50 reusable blocks covering charts, diagrams, DAGs, models, ASCII and particle treatments, media effects, motion, slides, and video. Requires Node.js 22.12 or newer. Native Python and Rust rendering engines have explicit setup commands for their optional toolchains.

Verified a fresh npm consumer, all 50 source-copy blocks, repeated installation, and a copied skill with automatic runtime setup and a working gallery export. The runtime freshness check compares contents across gzip implementations and still rejects stale source.
