Release Notes
Edit files without leaving auri.
Added
- Built-in editor in the file viewer:
i(orEnter) starts editing,
Escstops.iin Changes or in a diff opens that file in the editor —
from a diff, at the first change in view. - Nothing is saved automatically:
Ctrl-Ssaves, and the title shows●
while there are unsaved changes. Saves are atomic and keep the file's
line endings, final newline, permissions and symlinks. - Unsaved changes are never lost silently: quitting or opening another
file asks Save / Discard / Cancel (Ctrl-Ctwice quits anyway). If the
file changes on disk meanwhile, your edits are kept and saving asks
whether to overwrite it or reload it. - Selection (Shift+arrows, mouse drag), undo/redo (
Ctrl-Z/Ctrl-Y),
cut/copy/paste (Ctrl-X/Ctrl-C/Ctrl-V, copies also reach the
system clipboard through OSC 52), word moves,Tab/Shift-Tabindent
and auto-indent onEnter.
Removed
o(open in$VISUAL/$EDITOR): editing now happens inside auri.
