Blob for desktop and Android: the app version of blob.bojes.org, with Blob, your notes, calendar, projects, CV and the learning centre.

New in this version

• Open Blob files: double-click a .blob file (or choose Open with → Blob) and it comes into your notes with its sub-pages, pictures and files. On Android, open it from Files or Downloads, or share it to Blob.
• Notes can do much more: text sizes in px, text and highlighter colours, alignment, lists with their own size and style, text under a list item, find and replace, moving blocks, templates, and Markdown pasted as formatting.
• Two notes side by side, and Ctrl+Shift+L (Ctrl+Tab in the app) switches to the last note; hold it for a list of recent pages.
• Diagrams without code: mind maps, processes, timelines and more from simple rows, with a large view and downloads.
• Export and import: PDF, Markdown and Blob files, and all your notes as one backup in Settings.
• Drag and drop in the app: pictures and files dragged onto a note land in it, and a Blob file, Markdown or text dropped anywhere else comes in as a new note.
• A text cursor you can see: Blob draws its own thick cursor in the app on computers.
• The French course has been removed.

• Ziehen und Ablegen in der App: Bilder und Dateien, die du auf eine Notiz ziehst, landen darin, und eine Blob-Datei, Markdown oder Text, die du woanders ablegst, wird eine neue Notiz.
• Ein Textcursor, den man sieht: Blob zeichnet in der App am Computer einen eigenen, kräftigen Cursor.
• Der Französischkurs wurde entfernt.

Install

• Windows: Blob_…_x64-setup.exe (or the .msi). Windows may warn that the publisher is unknown: More info → Run anyway.
• macOS (Apple silicon and Intel): Blob_…_universal.dmg, drag Blob into Applications. The first time macOS says it can't check Blob: open System Settings → Privacy & Security and choose Open Anyway.
• Linux: .deb (Ubuntu, Debian), .rpm (Fedora) or the .AppImage.
• Android (8.0 or newer): Blob_…_android.apk, allow installing from your browser or files app when asked.
• iPhone and iPad: coming with the App Store.

The apps show the live site: everything you do is the same as on the web, and what you did offline is saved to the cloud once you're back online.
